NHL 11 Tips: Different Ways to Score (Gameplay/Commentary)

In this video I am going to show you a few different ways/techniques to score in the brand new game NHL 11' for PS3.

1. Over the Goalies Glove
- When coming across the centre ice, cock the stick back and shoot top right corner.

2. Breakaway Goal (BackHand and ForeHand)
- When on a breakaway, quickly push left, right and up on the right stick.
Do this just before entering the crease area.

3. Breakaway Goal, Body Movement Right Left
- Using the left stick, tap right and left. Then quickly shoot top left corner with the right stick.

4. Across Crease, Right Deke
- When coming across the crease from the left side, push right then left with your right stick, then shoot high.

5. Across Crease Cock Shot
- When Coming across form the right side of the crease, cock your stick all the way left and back till you pass the goalie. Then shoot top left.

6. Left, Right, Left
- Get the goalie moving. Deke left right left with your right stick and shoot top corner.

@greekosdarkness I know it's been months and NHL 12 is now out but I just bought '11 and saw this vid and I can't let this go.

When he says "cock" he's referring to cocking the stick like you would cock a gun. It has nothing to do with 5-holes or crotches. Clearly, you didn't understand and made it into a juvenile joke, but the use of "cock shot" is appropriate to describe the move. Get a dictionary.
