Big Juan™ Camera Array Demo In Austin, TX

Thanks to our friend Matt Sheridan at Team Thirteen, here is a time lapse video showing the set-up of Big Juan™, a proprietary camera array built by Welikesmall for a website project. The rig is a 28' span of welded steel goodness, which is outfitted with 28 Canon digital SLR cameras all controlled via a custom switchboard. The whole thing is hoisted up on a scissor lift. The idea is to produce a pannable image sequence with a "Matrix" like effect. This shoot was done in Chicago, Boise, and Austin.
