  • I'm Spanish and I speak Spanish (national language) and Galician (regional language). As for foreign languages, I speak English, French, Portuguese and some Italian ^^

  • I think its easier for an European to learn more languages...

And well, I dont live in Europe but I speak Spanish, English and French :P

And I want to learn at least 3 or 4 more languages :) German, Italian, Mandarin and Russian :D

  • Thanks for posting this interesting video! Some comments: 1) This video was made in Sardinia (unmistakable great accent!). Sardinian is a minority language in Italy. Strange that only a few of the Sardinians mentioned Sardinian as their mother language. Inferiority complex? - 2) in Europe 46 Million people speak a minority language. More than 60 minority languages are spoken in the 27 EU states. - 3) People who speak a minority language should be proud of keeping their languages alive. Peace!

  • Bilingualism is not hard to achieve, nor is multilingualism, it just takes a little bit of time. Why is it people always feel the need to doubt what others say? Why shouldn't they be able to speak at least three languages? I heard no one ask "how many languages do you speak with native fluency and in an eloquent manner?" Just "speak" is not very hard, communicate and make yourself understood. Writing university essays or poetry is another thing...

  • It's hard for me to believe that all these people really speak the languages they claim to speak! I mean, I know that we all speak SOME of a foreign language, but bilingualism alone is very hard to achieve, let alone multilinguism!!

    Don't you agree?

  • Latin will be the official working language of U.E, for a new renaissance.

  • Multi-Latinism.

  • Everyone relax; Languages must always exist, my native language is English but I would never want the world to speak just 1 language. Thankfully, most of the "languages" people are braggingggg about here are actually dialects of Latin anyway... WOW, you can speak French, Italian and Spanish!? THAT'S AMAZINGGGGGG (not).

It's not like these are people who speak Russian, Hungarian, Iceland and Turkish...
