Hell is not a fire pit where you are cast into to burn. That is simply not true. Nonetheless, you will suffer greatly if you are not ready when the Lord Comes or when you die. spiritsword83, what reference do you have that Jesus descended into the center of the earth? Where is it found? Cause I dont remember such a scripture in the bible.

It is found here the heart of the earth is obviously the earth's core obviously hell. Matthew 12:40

Hell is a state of being. The very fact of not being in the presence of Jesus Christ adn the Father will be hell for anyone. Once their eyes are opened they would want more than anything to join him and partake of the Tree of Life. but their chance was lost and are cast out and will suffer thus all eternity not ever being able to be with him again. Hell will be in their concience. God will not burn them in fire for all eternity. That is symbolic of the kind of torment they wil feel.

sorry bud, but that's simply not true. hell is a literal place of fire, terrible smells, absolute misery, and grief. Jesus said He would descend into the heart of the earth for three days before His ascension, that tells us that hell is literally in the center of the earth. the center of the earth is hotter than the sun. check out Bill Weise's testimony of his vision of hell. Yes, hell IS seperation from God, but the torment and "weeping and gnashing of teeth" is not metaphoric.

I dont believe in any professional Pastors. Jesus called on the humble fishermen to be his apostles. They never went through school to become a professional pastor.
