Just a quick Illustration to accompany the written review of the JVC DLA-HD950. This highlights the artefacts seen when feeding 1080/24 fps video and film material and having the CMD switched on to low and high. This is frame interpolation technology and has several issues with 1080/24fps material. Interlaced and 1080/60 are handled slightly better but the CMD kills any film material by having a sped up look. You might find it ok with video based material at 480/576i 50/60 or 1080/60. This is for Illustration of the artefacts seen and are representative of what we see when watching the material in our review reference room. Read the full review of this reference level projector (when CMD is switched off) at www.avforums.com/reviews.
