I made an amp with a distortion knob out of an altoids tin and a modified schematic from instructables.com's tutorial on the $5 crackerbox amp. I made is so that the schematic fit on 2cm x 3cm PCB which is smaller than a 9volt battery. The distortion knob, 5cm 8ohm speaker, 6.3mm jack, circuit board and 9v battery fit nice and snug into the tin itself. The whole project took me about an hour to modify and solder the new circuit board and like 2 days to problem solve lol. Otherwise this is a real easy project for beginners.

Note: It does not currently have a volume knob because I ordered the parts online and they forgot to include the 2nd pot log. I'll post a better, more thorough video when I do get that pot log installed.
