Heroes of Might and Magic 1: Sorceress Town Theme Music (Fully animated)

Sorceress This is one of the two "magic" alignments. "Magic" aligned heroes gain skill points in spell power or knowledge more often than in attack or defense as they gain experience. Sorceress heroes are all female. Sorceress troops, listed in ascending order of strength are as follows: Sprites, Dwarves, Elves, Druids, Unicorns, and Phoenix.

eroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest is a turn-based strategy game developed and published by New World Computing in 1995 for MS-DOS. A spin-off of New World Computing's Might and Magic series of computer role-playing games, the success of Heroes of Might and Magic led to a number of sequels.
In 1996, NWC released an updated version of the game, ported to Windows 95. This new version included a map editor, random map generator, CD audio, and new scenarios. As a bonus, King's Bounty was also included on the CD.

Ok i've just started to play this game for teh first time and have a question that hopefully someone can help me with

if you have more than 4 combat spells how do you access teh second set of spells? i can only see 4 spells at a time and do not know how to acess the remaining 4 without exhausting the 4 i already have. Yet when i go to auto-conmabt the computer will access spells off the second page immediately.

@mrai2004 An earlier version of this game (or rather, its spiritual predecessor) was released for the PC and also for the Genesis/Mega Drive. It's called King's Bounty.

It's pretty fun.

Sadly, the only want to play this is to go through DOS box and pray it works.

@Shyranis Oh no! I can get it to work with DOS box :) Just sometimes it doesn't want to load past the Title screen. :(

Is there anyway to make it full screen? Mine just shows up as a small little window in top left of the screen.

@MageAnakara That sounds like what happens when I run the windows version. Also with the map editor. The DOS version runs well for me in DOSBOX. If you need help with anything DOSBOX I'd recommend vogons(dot)zetafleet(dot)com as there are DOSBOX developers there that contribute to the conversation regularly.

My very 1st PC game that I "totally" fell in love with! Still have both DOS & WIN95 CD versions but I purchased the GOG.com version because it runs like a champ on Windows 7. The Old Kings Bounty is fun, it no where near as polished as HoMM1. Still play the game today & you can find about 40+ single player maps from the Map Editor from the WIN95 verison! Enjoy everyone!
