Highlights from Michigan's football game against Iowa, October 21, 2006. Michigan 20, Iowa 6. Mike Hart had 126 yards rushing and two TDs; the defense limited Iowa to 41 yards rushing and sacked Drew Tate five times.
Michigan had an unbelievable defensive line but a swiss cheese and molasses secondary as Ohio state and USC would expose. This game really convinced me that Drew Tate was overrated and would never be a great QB. They got pressure on him but he was evasive enough to create time but he just kept making bad mistakes and throwing picks.
Steve Breaston and Adrian Arrington came up huge in the absense of Manningham (a combined 15 catches for 133 yards). Carson Butler also stepped up big in the place of the injured Tyler Ecker (3 catches for 49 yards). Just goes to show you how much talent Michigan has at wide receiver and tightend. Go Blue!
