It's not so much the GBA's fault that this game sucks. Games that were made specifically for it don't suffer the same flaws. Capcom could have put some effort into tweaking the game to play better on this system.

Fun Fact: Pirate Man's weapon makes a certain amount of sense because pirates had an explosive weapon known as the Grenado, basically a clay or metal ball with a ton of shrapnel and black powder packed inside of it. Light it up, throw, watch people die.

Hate the music on GBA? Play Mother 3, easily one if the BEST soundtracks ever, and it's on GBA! You can only play it on an emulator though.
