They say we lived.AT LEAST 50 INJURIES WERE REPORTED IN THIS TOWN OF ABOUT 1,000 NORTHEAST OF DES MOINES.SOT: It's just so sad everybody's in such bad shape. I just hope people come and help us, that's all.SOT: I couldn't believe it. It's just amazing ... Like matchsticks.THE TORNADO LEVELED HOMES ... ALONG WITH MOST OF THE TOWN'S HIGH SCHOOL.ALL OF THIS SPARKED BY WARM AIR MOVING NORTH FROM THE GREAT PLAINS ... WITH COLD AIR IN THE MIX, STORMS FOLLOWED.IN HUGO, MINNESOTA ... THUNDERSTORMS PACKED HAIL AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO.SOT: The first wave was wind, a real strong wind, that's where most of the damage came from.SOT: You've got 1.5 inch size hail here. And it came down and put wholes all over my siding and my roof ... [Notes:VO shelter, woman with bumps]A 2-YEAR-OLD CHILD WAS KILLED. THE WEATHER SERVICE WILL INSPECT THE AREA, TO SEE IF THIS WAS A TORNADO. THE NOW-HOMELESS GATHERED AT THIS SHELTER ... BRUISES AND ALL.SOT: I can't even really describe it. It was so terrifying. I was just praying to God to protect us.THE MAYOR SAYS ABOUT 50 HOMES IN THIS ST. PAUL SUBURB ARE GONE. WITH HUNDREDS MORE EVACUATED BECAUSE OF SAFETY CONCERNS ...   • my mom lives where that tornado hit and it was in hugo,minnesota thats where the 2 year old boy was killed he was lifted by the tornado and he landed in a pond that was by his house thats where they found him and they were too late it was a very sad holiday for hugo..i live in cali and when i heard about it and knowing that the little boy was only about 4 blocks away from my moms house i do thank the lord my family is safe but grive for the family that lost there little boy like that

  • I've been watching the weather. I live in Waseca if you know where that is.. I practically had my eyes glued to the TV last weekend on fox 9 when all those storms went through the metro... and as this video was playing now I caught they were also talking about the Hugo tornadoes, so that's the city they were talking about when they said St. Paul Suburb.. Hugo is a suburb of St. Paul.

  • I don't know either, but thank you for helping me keep updated. Right now we are up for a flash flood warning and some counties a tornado watch so if you are in any of those counties, heads up.

  • that was quick.. actually this one is in Iowa so I don't know what they mean't when they said St. Paul suburb, which would mean a city outside of St. Paul, unless there's some city called St. Paul in Iowa? Idk..
