SENSACIONAL! Ouvir ou falar de Fela Kuti é discutir um passado que - por incrível que pareça - é bem atual para qqr país, seja no Brasil de Sarney/Jader/Maluf/Collor, seja na Nigéria de Obasanjo ou em qqr outro lugar do mundo. A corrupção, manipulação/mídia, opressão, abuso de poder, conluio entre governantes/empresários ou qqr outra ação nesse sistema sórdido estão sempre de mãos dadas. Era justamente isso que FELA KUTI fazia questão de maximar em suas músicas e idéias: injustiças. Viva FELA!

Man, I hate how music, just isnt as good these days. Im not saying it's all bad but for most the mainstream decide what thay listen to... i got exposed to world music through Rock & Roll, and this sounds great... Shame most people aren't exposed to other cultures and their music, i mean this is old ( judging from comments i read) and im just discovering it! There are treasures all around the world, Africa, Asia, Latin America etc,etc, now I just need to find them!!
