  • what a fuckin' asshole of a dad!!

  • That's where I watched it

And, you know something? It wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be

    It wasn't explicit

Disturbing yes, but it all had a point:

Life is very often fucked-up, and you just have to do the best you can to survive

  • Sadly there's a lot of dad's that treat their children like this. It's just not shown on movies or spoken about a lot. Although there was a lot of explicit sex scenes, some of which were probably unnecessary, the film had a lot of truth about it in certain demographics of society where fucked up abuse happens.

  • @robs104 : If it's illegal to show in a public screening and hundreds of outlets refused to shelve it, figured that means it's banned. NC-17 is a rating. 1969? Wasn't Natural Born Killers banned for almost a decade? I'm not gonna fucking argue over this anymore, pointless.

  • @Davephatbuds Have you ever heard of unrated? How about NC-17? Can you REALLY be this dense? Unless there is something illegal in the movie (real underage sex, real murder, etc) the US CAN NOT constitutionally stop it.The last nationwide "ban" was in 1969, it was not really a ban in the usual sense of the word. Certain jurisdictions have blocked films before for legal reasons but it is 99% of the time overturned. Just because distributors consider it kryptonite doesn't mean it is banned.

  • @robs104 : That's why the NAACP refused to rate it and allow it to be released in any kind of screen nation wide. There were even stories of people getting arrested for showing it in private screenings and films festivals. The reason no one distributed it is because it was banned. Larry Clark was told if he trimmed some of the content in it, it would get a R rating, but he refused. If it's illegal to distribute and show in in the states, it's banned.

  • @Davephatbuds IT IS NOT BANNED IN THE UNITED STATES. The film never found a distributor in the US because of its content. That does not mean it's banned. That's like saying Pinocchio is banned because you can't find copies in walmart.

  • @robs104 : It is banned. It's banned in the US and Australia. Look it up man. I had to order the movie from Russia.

  • @Davephatbuds Why would this film be banned? I can go into most any video store and buy hardcore pornography. There may not be many copies out there but it's not banned.

  • @SkaVibes001 : The movie is banded in the US. You'd have to order the movie from another country. Same director as "Kids" "Another Day in Paradise" and "Bully"

  • where can i watch this?

  • @Brettwbeyer14 this movie was so real

man growing up crazy shit happened to me but you never see that in movies

I bet the director or screen writers expirience something like what the movie shows

    crazy
