"The Chool Song" with Dean Collins and Jewel McGowen as Collette (1941). Dean came to California in 1936 and brought his style of Swing with him. His partner for over 11 years was Jewel who he danced with many times in the movies that spanned many years, they would dance the Lindy Hop to Jitterbug later years the Rock and Roll and finally to West Coast Swing till he past away in 1984. They, namely Dean blazed a path with swing while the others got left behind.
