I know there's already lots & lots & lots of vids of this piece on YouTube already... but I just recently FINALLY got the ability to make actual vids for YouTube, and.. not to sound cocky, but I think I do a pretty good job here.

(Plus, I think I get a few extra Inter-fame points for that little minor interruption by my girlfriend about halfway through.. proving I have a girlfriend.. doesn't hurt. xD. We've been together just over 4 years.. and.. speaking of which, she just proposed the other day so now actually technically she's my fiancée now.. I can't wait till she's my wife, officially! Sorry for this ramble, I'll shut up about it now - I'm just very much in love.. but I'm probably being really annoying about it by typing on and on about it here, so.. sorry lol, moving along):

As usual, this is by ear. There may be a few minor flubs in the performance.. but that's one of the (lesser) reasons why I make takes of VG themes go for two iterations, usually (i.e. it loops once).

Also.. (at least in the 2nd half where I back up a bit so you can better see my fingers), you can see the fingers I use (particularly for the LH); I think they work fairly well - the piece has a lot of little jumps, and some of the LH arpeggios are awkward if you're not using a good fingering.

Anyway, if you want my version of the sheet music w/ my fingerings, PLEASE suggest a really good music notation program if you happen to know one. I do have staff paper, but I get writer's cramp really easily, and we don't have a scanner.

I keep trying Finale (most recently, the free trial of Final PrintMusic, also it should be noted for compatibility purposes that I'm using a Mac these days), because people say it's [Finale is] so good, but every time I try it.. I can't get it to do the most basic things...

Like for example, if I wanted to notate Agitha's Castle, I cant get Finale to accept a set of tied-together dotted half-notes on middle C (for bars 1-2) w/ eighth notes going E-F-E-F-E-F, E-F-E-F-F#-G, etc.
It seems that in order to make "chords" in Finale, the note you're adding has to match the note time value of the note you're adding it to...

If there's something I'm not getting, anyone who knows the program feel free to let me know what I'm not getting...

I also want the ability to notate stuff with complex meters, additive meters, or even with note meter at all, using arbitrarily-placed barlines & dotted-barlines, the ability to put in runs of like, say, 17 notes that are written all small, like the ones you see in sheet music for Chopin/Liszt/Rachmaninoff pieces, etc.

Basically.. I just wanna know what the REAL sheet music publishers use (like Dover, etc.) and just use THAT if possible... what DO they use anyway?

Sorry for the ramble.. anyway, hope you enjoy!
