Margaret Fabrizio is having a quilting bee online and her comments and videos gave me some ideas about some of the things I've been hanging on to. This video is to thank her and to show some items of mine that I may make into a "Memory Quilt". My friend Margie joined the conversation with her video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWwQkfkYKYo

Thank you so much for watching my videos!

  • Oh, Marguerite! I´m your follower since several months ago. This is a great video! This month I decided to share my drawings for quilt and redwork. Sometimes I get a little nervous about the responsability. But now that I saw your video I feel encouraged :) Thanks! BTW You look lovely at the videos, very natural ;)

    Blessings

  • @marissadech Hi Marissa, Thank you so much! I like your videos also, and love the blue jeans apron video - what a great idea! Nice blog you have too :)

  • What a great idea, Marguerita. I loved hearing the background stories that go along with your creations. I'm not a quilter but I do like to watch quilting videos for some reason. :-) But you have me inspired to go in my sewing room and do a video about the things I have pinned up on the bulletin boards in that room. I think I just might do that! Thanks so much for the idea.

  • @susangm Hi Susan, I loved your video when you got your pegboard - I'd just love to see your momentos too---I can hardly wait :)

  • Marguerita...it was your videos that inspired me to start this adventure last november...and im so grateful for your sharing and teaching. Like i said, im very new, but i too am "unconsciously" using a design/inspiration/momento wall...i really don't think about it, till someone comes in, and mentions it. Its actually a pretty cool thing. Again, thanks for sharing...your too awesome!

  • @TXnineandout Wow, no kidding? I just read your whole blog - Reagan, you are a quilting DYNAMO!! Yes, Dianne Dye is a great teacher; I LOVE your basting table, I'm going to have to try that one; LOVE your string quilts (and all the others too - that braid is superb) but I am really into scraps right now; looks like that new machine was the *perfect* choice for you (isn't a knee lift SWEET?!?) and I really love the most recent 4 quilts on your blog. *I* inspired YOU??!?!?! No way!!

  • You made quilts as art, a whole new dimension. This is an awesome idea. I wasn't sure how to do this but I see you can't really do one wrong. It's just interprative or abstract.. Art makes many lines disapear.. Awesome vid.. WOW quilting predjudice.. LOL Super funny!! And quilting plagerism.. Not as funny.. >:o/

  • thanks, this is wonderful, what a pro!

attaching it to mine seems to have worked. Great . .
