Right click on the Gimp icon on your front screen, go to "Troubleshoot" click that
and then click "Recommended settings" and save them. That's what i did lol and it works now. Good luck

Have a dumb question....
I noticed that you have windows 7 and are running GIMP, but I was on the GIMP website and was told that GIMP won't work on windows 7. How did you do it? Thank you in advance for explaining my dumb question : )
