  • I always wanted to do this

  • @Elva89 It seems like you should do it. You've watched all my planting videos so you should go find out what's it like.

  • ever heard of a planter called FRANZ OTTO...i hear many screefers just refer to him as "THE LEGEND" ? rjm

  • @rjmendera Nope. "Legends" are usually within the company you worked for and I probably didn't work for the same ones as him.

  • 14 cent land? this had better been a walk in.

  • Actually we got 15 cents. Easiest $300.00 ever! Sometimes we get overpaid.

  • slaves eh? how much do you make everyday with your oh so free lifestyle? Since my second week i haven't made less than 250 a day and the contract i started on was 9 cents a tree. Do slaves get to choose when to take their breaks? It may be harder than a desk job, but I have never felt so free as when I'm in the bush. That mixed with how much you grow as a person and the unmatched employee comradery makes planting one of the most rewarding jobs out there. far different from slavery if you ask me

  • @cr7sl7 go on...

  • @fagslav THANKS FOR ANSWERING-when THE FRANZ first started ,he planted for a season for a CO. that went bust, and he never earned a penny....he managed his first small company himself,so i guess it wasn't always tidy. But later he married, and his wife kept things orderly. What i hear he lives around QUESNEL now,has some kids and a good marriage--best wishes-rjm

  • @rjmendera i knew him, in fact brushed/spaced for him for a little while in early 2000s. i also heard stories and impressive numbers of his, but his management style was poor and quite sloppy (contracts not managed by him were quite good though).

anyway, tree planting and brushing were great jobs and i recommend it for anyone young. having a professional job for a while, i still start thinking about bush work this time of the year. cheers

  • thats a good pace for 14 cent land.

  • @MrSimo222 its expensive to fly to australia - I've planted in Northern ontario 10 cents a tree - good land - never made less then 300$ a day. You should come here

  • Sure will.
