I call my pinky finger Major Pinky and with this scale Pattern I know the six string note gives a major penta will my index give the min

that was a !POWERFUL! lesson man.. i learnt this scale when i started, but as iv never had a teacher or anything i dint really know it could be moved and changed...

Excellent vid !!! Very informational & instructive, but more importantly, it was FUN !!! Oh and with just a tad of " I'm not as think as you burnt I am Occifer" ... LOL... Really dug it man... Still working on my calouses, so yeah, I'm a newbie to playing... Played a tad when I was 17... Anyway, really great , subbed, fav'd & will be checking out more... Thanks for sharing this...

@artuneas No, it means the intervals are the same, no natter where you are on the fret board.
5-8, 5-7, 5-7, 5-7, 5-8, 5-8 is for keys of C major and A minor.
If the song is in the key of B major or A-flat minor the frets you would play are 4-7, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6, 4-7, 4-7
