Winglancer is a freeware shoot-em-up with an excellent soundtrack composed by Japanese musician ABFUKU, who's well known for his great MIDI transcriptions and piano arrangements. His website is here - http://www2c.biglobe.ne.jp/~abfuku/ - I recommend you visit!
These were made back in January 2005. They're transcriptions of the 2-Channel MSX versions rather than the wonderfully harmonised Windows versions - I had plans to transcribe those in future as well but to date I haven't got around to it. Still, he accomplishes more with two simultaneous notes than many composers manage with a full arsenal of polyphony and sounds, IMO. The original tracks are available on ABFUKU's site.
These are also the last old sequences that I have left to upload - there's a few others but they plain suck and aren't going up unless they get updated (not likely.) These may also be the last vg sequences I post here for a while now. I've expended a great amount of energy transcribing video game songs - over the last 15 months in particular, though it isn't doing me a great deal of good at this point. They're a dime a dozen. I need to devote my grey matter to 'bigger things' that people can really appreciate. I've been accused of being a waste of talent on more than one occasion, and for all I know it is probably true.
Hope you enjoy these. Should have some new material coming up in future (famicompo is on the horizon!)
