who is the Salaf !!!

salaf are those who follow our beloved prophet, the taabei and the taabi taabei.

My minhaj is that of the Salaf meaning I only take what was brought by the first three generations of Islam I am not a salafi muslim because in the Quran Allah states: "Hold steadfast all of you together by the Rope of Allah and do not be divided."[3:103] "He(Allah) has oradained for you the same religion which He ordained for Nuh and that which We have revealed to you and that which We ordained for Ibraheem Musa Isa saying you should establish the religion and make no divisions it. I am Muslim!

@L2151 Salam brother i believe the person who calls himself that, is talking out of unjustified fear of the word, if you would just ponder on the word a little bit more, you will realize that the Salaf are the prophet his companions and all those who follow on their understanding, henceforth a Salafi is just one who aspires to follow their footsteps especially in controversial issues such as Interpretation of Quran, and Hadith.

Again i admire your position but yet i see it unnecessary
