  • sorry bro, just a question pls..i allways try to cut my sample (using other samples of old disco not this one) like this, you know be careful to get loop kick, snare kick snare, but when i put it to the "playlist" and i do 'fit the tempo", it never stalled on my house loop, you know, the kick of my sample at the same time as my kick, and the snare too.actually i never get it, so for longtime, i always sampled loops without drums. maybe you can help me, maybe the samples i cut aren't good

  • @task33 That is because OLD disco beats are not perfectly synched to a bmp. You need to manually cut up and stretch different parts or use a "liquid audio feature" to map the hits of the sample to the grid of the beat you are making. Also, try to cut off the bass regions with an EQ so that it doesnt conflict with the overlayed drum. Or make the sample duck behind the kick using sidechaining method. I might do a tutorial on how to perfectly match an old disco sample to a 4/4 beat...if i have time

  • @gloryboxmusic it could really helps me if you do it.. yeah i know the EQ can make it, but it never very clean..sidechaining method,it's hard to get it, i don't know yet very well how to use it in fl studio..the "liquid audio feature" seems interesting, but i never see it on fl studio..can you please give me some tips, how about it works? i'l find by my side..if i can solve this probleme, i can do some remix, and use some samples, i allways want to do.. thanks man

  • @task33 Sidechaining in FL Studio...100s of vids on that topic here on YT.

Liquid Audio: Some hosts have that feature...eg. Abelton Live
