If you are an IT worker and having a hard time keeping up with the stream of knowledge, give DevonThink a try. I use it to capture a permanent archive of all my RSS feeds, which are typically generated via "favorites" and "stars" from Google Reader, Twitter, ReadItLater and Delicious Bookmarks.

  • This applies to information I've imported from folders on the Mac in addition to RSS feeds that are live-subscribed.

  • Thanks for the comments. I will try to put out some more in this series this Winter. I'm preparing a talk for NoFluffJust Stuff.com that will include a good treatment of DevonThink too.

As for which version I use, I'm on PRO because I use the OCR features and multiple libraries.

  • Excellent demonstration. Can DevonThink do that with the info already in your Mac? Or only what you bring into the application?

  • do you use devonthink 2 or devonthink office pro?

  • Love the video - would definitely like to see more Devonthink videos. More info about how you use the AI capabilities, how you set up th databases, 1 vs many databases etc.

    Keep up the great work!
