It reached #40 back in 1979. They would have reached higher if they'd actually had their scheduled appearance on Top of the Pops, but they were snubbed in favour of Gary Numan.

Pete Banks was the keyboard player with After the Fire. He was also my maths teacher at Gaynes School, Upminster, Essex for a while and despite musical interludes on the piano during algebra, he still managed to get most of the class successfully through the O-level exam! Great guy....many happy memories
