@spice1979 I know Carl Cox is the master but I just didnt rate him when he played in JHB, I caught a set of his at an outdoor festival in the UK a few years ago...much better but for the purpose of my list of who rocked JHB, Coxy doesnt make it

@TZVQPX Dont be silly my Capetonian china, in those days JHB was kicking the shit. The only news of cooking clubs was coming from Durbs was it 330 all us Joburgers were hearing about??? Like all you boys were hearing about E.S.P down south, no ways my boet, Cape Town didnt even register as a Jol for us in the mid-late 90's

Anyone have footage/recording of Becketts Trek - The Mother of all raves? It was screened on SABC 3 in 1996. Would really luv to see that again.

@Mike26Spike I Was at that rave, Nasrec Film studios even remember some of the Dj line up, Blu Peter & Mrs Woods remember the dancer in the mirror suit still gotta be one of the best raves ever, lots of trashed people there, I saw Dennis's show and could have sworn I saw myself on TV.I searched everywhere for that footage, cant find nothing on it, might be worth while to get hold of Dennis Beckett directly and ask him but I dont know if he actually own the rights to it or if its property of SABC
