Doom II - Plutonia Experiment - Map 32 - Go 2 it - UV-speed in 1:22

sigh....this was easy.....NOT!

i probably have THE worst luck out of all the speedrunners out there! seriously, things that happened during this stage was so mind-boggling that i couldn't think straight. such things include.

slim to none monster infighting ( at the BEGINNING of the run)
2 cyberdemons firing simultaneously at the blue key corridor
2 cyber"bouncers" standing IN FRONT of door
arch viles pushing me into stray cyber missiles
Cyberdemons eating my BFG shots like they're lucky charms( 4 to 5 w/o dying)
arch viles giving me "wings" across the stage

...i think i wont speedrun after this anymore; too tiring. i might just do play throughs from now on -__- though i want to do "Go 4 it" before anything else, which i will do

total number of attempts: 229

its a glitch that is incoporated when you adjust the programming to do as such. you can make the doomguy do that if he takes too much damage.

where on earth did you hear that a cheat is being employed if he simply makes a O face? if that is the case, everyone who plays doom uses so-called cheats for their runs. it was a glitch in the console ports but on the PC its used as a regular expression.

@tamemsam Final Doom (Plutonia and TNT, specifically) are IWADs. Yes, that means they're original. They, however, are the latest part of the Doom trilogy. If that confuses you, I'm not sure I can explain it much better. :/

@TendaMonsta Because it's an actual slaughter level within final doom. And also because final doom is a lot more popular than any "homemade" slaughter wad. I remember the nightmares this map caused me many years ago heh.

it's pretty challenging but you can cut back in time if you're going for uv-speed

don't go after the bfg when you start, go back to the red key route and pick it up and from there do the normal route and pick the blue key up. then get the bfg. it saves a good minute and a half or so.
