they need to leave the truck drivers alone they are trying to get their pay checks just them and all the police do is complain but i want to see them lose sleep every night from driving a big rig from state to state and fuck the government cause with out truck drivers there would be no government .

@snakeeye1234567890 Im a Heavy Hauler for 15 years now. my truck is register for 110,000lbs. i run 13 axles over 100 tons must of the time. Half of the people that will comment on this dont know the difference of a pikup to a big rig..

i drove for a year and picked up a load out of bollingbrook il homedepot warehouse and went and scaled it 82000 so i went back after adjusting the wieght to the tandem and told them i was over wieght by 2000 and they need to take that much out and when i rescaled amazing i was still 82000 except it was on my drives instead so i went back again uh did they not think i wouldnt notice those 2000 lbs they fixed it finally 3rd times the charm i guess

That's bullshit..what's over weight on a pickup would be legal on a big truck..so how does that damage the road if it's ok on a big truck?..Not to mention if you're willing to pay..you can buy permits to be over and it's suddenly not bad for the road? My company is permitted for 108k and we use every bit of our permit weight but that doesn't damage the road because it's legal, right? His first statement about too much weight and road damage is crap!!

In recent years Australia has introduced Chain of Responsibility legislation.If you are overweight not only are you responsible but the company who loaded you are responsible and get fined heavily.Also in some states they have a 3 strike law.That is 3 offences in 3 years then the truck is deregistered for 6 months .It does not matter who was driving it.You could for example ,have 3 drivers in 3 days in the same truck each get booked for something then the truck is off the road for 6 months

I wish they would start going after the shippers that continually overload these trucks and call in on any driver that says anything to them. I load at one place in Laredo, Tx. that charges $400.00 if you don't axle out and need them to move the load!

maybe if the government would spend some of my tax dollars on roads that didn't fall to pieces after a few years, you wouldn't be crying because a trucker decided to haul some heavy shit.

ha ha ha. hey i gotta good idea. instead of me ( a trucker) putting up with all YOUR bs, y dont i just quit hauling everything that YOU need like food,water, building mat, gas things like that. then we will see who needs who. so next time your filling out one of those tickets to a good hard working man, just remember.... who needs who.
