  • Its possible by the lava cooling and hardening, and then the process happens over and over again until it eventually reaches the surface of the water, but then it keeps on erupting and causing the island to get bigger and bigger. That is how a lot of islands are formed.

  • @ubaldorodriguez13 It takes thousands of years. One little rock per hour.
