Twister Skylift, flown by Chris Hornby. Various mods such as the led lights and conversion to 2.4ghz spectrum. Note missing tail due to a pretty bad crash from a very great hight over portland (I kid you not).

The Worlds First RTF tandem rotor RC helicopter!
Incredible scale detail with outstanding flight stability
Factory-assembled Ready-To-Fly R/C heli with EVERYTHING included
Checked, test-flown and Flight Guaranteed - so you KNOW it flies!
Co-axial tandem rotor system gives nearly double the stability!
So stable - it almost hovers by itself!

A unique and ideal introduction to RC helicopter flight

  • if you added a rope to it could it carry stuff?

  • All model helis rely on being very light to get any sort of performance out of them, lifting extra weight is not really an option.

  • their great, But flying over space isnt really an option, Because its only 3 channel, you can only really hover, with slight movements during throttel, Great tho!

  • Its actually 4 channel, I think you are thinking of the new pico z heli.

  • how well do these respond to forward flight??? can they go fast? thanks =]

  • If you increase the control throws they will really shift and become more fun.

  • Is that a t-rex 450 I hear spooling up at 0.38>

  • can somesone tell me how many mah the stock battery is.. thaanks

  • How have you got it working with the Spektrum rx? When I try I get no rudder control coming through?

  • How to you get access to a huge flying space like this?

  • is that one by Yiboo Toys? cause if so then i have that same one (Its only green though)

  • yes it is.

  • Nice flight. I wish i could fly in a space like that!

  • It does fly forward and even at relativly high speed (for a dual rotor system) Just beware of sudden maneuvres when you're at high speed. If you don't secure the balancers the will come off resulting in a fatal crash. I advice to place a heavier battery (1300 mAh) to stabilize it at high speed. When you're using the standard setup it cannot reach high speed and it's too unstable when speeding up.

  • Please fly at night for better effect...
