@Oranjeklant which Khalifah's are you talking about? The only way Khalifah's got destroyed is by thinking like you => "i can control myself, i have no need for a law" and so you as an Emir would allow alcohol to the people and that would cause trouble for some who cant control it.. that kind of thinking is probably the most selfish and democratic, if ur gonna live together as 1 people sacrifices have to be made, unfortunatly u dont want to. As for that quote, search it up before u talk about it.

So Allah thinks it is wise to produce alcohol.
Why do you think I will get drunk ? I never drink too much; I can control myself, I have no need for a law. The same goes for sexual desire, I can restrain myself, so there is no need for women to dress in tents like in islamic countries.
Khalifah already failed twice, it's a failure.

@Oranjeklant you might drink alcohol one day out of emotional sadness or whatever, you might get drunk, you decide to hit someone because of boiled up emotions... you commit a crime which was not intended, yet was done.. you are allowed to do this cause for you no law denies this.. That's why we need a law. And all the other laws has failed where Khalifah will not. See previous talk.
