TurboDuo...Its not a toy ( 90s Turbo Technologies Ad )

Turbo Technologies Incorporated - a Los Angeles-based corporation consisting of NEC and Hudson Soft employees - established to market NEC consoles in North America after NEC Home Electronics USA failed to effectively market the platform originally known as the Turbografx-16. The TurboDuo was co-developed by Hudson Soft and NEC. The Japanese counterpart was the PC Engine Duo game console, which was released over a year earlier. The TurboDuo was bascially an intergrated Hucard and CD-ROM console with a System 2.0 upgrade. In this clip is the first North American advertisment promoting the new model Turbografx-16 - "TurboDuo" with the tagline "Its not a Toy".

@Fruna123 I didn't get the 360 cause my old Xbox(last model before they stopped making em)died in less than a year. Piss poor craftsmanship if you ask me. But yeah EVERY single game system I have, even my atari 2600 still works.....but not my xbox no sir-ie.

Well, that's their mistake right there. Nintendo marketed the NES as a toy and it sold WELL. Not a toy? Nobody cared back then. They only wanted "toys".

I still have mine...They sent me an offer(everybody that got the turbo mag.) to send in the TG16 and pay about 100 bux to get a turbo duo.
