@jigsaw5401 In 2008 Cutler was sacked 11 times, threw 18 INT's and finished with an 8-8 record. In 1981 Joe Montana was sacked 26 times, threw 12 INT's and won his 1st SB. In 1984 Montana was sacked 26 times, threw 10 INT's and won his 2nd SB. In 1988 Montana was sacked 34 times, threw 10 INT's and won his 3rd SB. In 1989 Montana was sacked 33 times, threw 9 INT's and won his 4th SB. Those aren't my opinions, those are the FACTS!!! Don't believe me, then look them up.
@landinmycourt your dumb... did you know that all those qbs that u mentioned have good o-lines. . football is a team sport, u wouldnt know that cause u spent all your life sitting on the couch eating cheetos and judging qb's performance. try to play on a football team and you will find out that havving good route running recivers and a decent o line is crucial.
i want cutler to have a good o-line and a #1 receiver. if he struggles than il belive mel kiper but until than mel should keep his nose where it should be cause i believe with the good offencive talent. jay can throw more than 30tds and 11 int. last year he was sacked 56 times!!! but he still managed to lead his team 11-5 with a 23td to 16int.
@TRON91 Yea as a Broncos fan I can't stand Philip Rivers. He was always trash talking him when Denver had the ball. Never in my life saw a QB trash talking from the sideline to the other starter. Very childish. But anyway I hope for your sake Cutler turns out to be a great QB.
@Vipersinferno i know...but at the same time, if he carried on the sideline...yelling at coaches and smashing equipment to go back in...everyone wouyld have said..."see i told u he was a punk!" see how he conducts himself, see he is a crybaby....instead Jay sat there and took it...it was a lose lose for him as soon as he got hurt,,,i think its unfair to judge him...as far as phil Rivers goes...yea he hurt his knee and played....but the game he originally got hurt in...he did not return.
@VicInNocal Lol that is ridiculous. I just had a vision of Pat Bowlen sitting in his Broncos front office desk with Broncos memorabilia everywhere going "where am I!??". Lol that is absurd. Did you see for yourself that Pat Bowlen is losing his memory?? Probably not. Im sure this is some ridiculous media report. Didn't you tell me not to believe everything you hear?? Well I know how you stubborn Bears fan are so guess you'll find out for yourself. So enjoy Jay Cutler and his antics.
@Vipersinferno Jay Cutler doesnt avoid the subject, he has said that he did in fact return Bowlen's messages. Bowlen says he didn't. It's he said/he said. But from what I hear Bowlen's mind isn't at 100% anymore and he sometimes even suffers memory lapses. Maybe this is what happened, and instead of bringing that up, Cutler decides it's just better to move on and take the high road.
@VicInNocal Well when Pat Bowlen says he didn't answer his calls and Jay Cutler avoids the whole subject... then yes I do. About as much as you can without actually being there. Why would a long time respectable owner who has always treated his players and staff well lie??? Come on VicInNocal you Bears fan. Be smarter than that. Take off your Bears colored goggles.
@TRON91 Nobody is saying he's a bad person. He just isn't a team leader. Ok so maybe he actually was seriously hurt in the NFC title game. Where is his team spirit when he was on the bench?? He seems aloaf and uninterested. You have to see that!?? Right!!????? I would assume Tron you are a Bears fan just from how incessantly you defend him. I find it really hard to believe an unbiased person would do the same.
