good approach... i see too many parents that chew their kids out on the playing field at practice.. All that does is supress and give the kid a lower self image and deincentivise them to do anything because now the sport is like a "job". The parent then criticizes them even more and from there the viscious cycle continues into a downward spiral..
good approach glad to see parents that are smart enough to realize that they need to have fun first and through that they will learn..
