Dude... Whats your resolution? Like 15x10?
-
Okay.. So.. I rendered a video out EXTERNALLY, using a Mpeg4-AVC rendereerrrrrrrr or sumfin, anywhore.. Sony vegas won't open the file. Help?
-
@Sakotius Yeah I learnt recently while studying the HTML5 video tag that H.264 is the codec and MP4 is just a container :L

9 months old :p but no. MP4 and H.264 MP4 are different. MP4 Sony AVC is a very badly coded version of H.264 that looks just like the normal MP4. H.264 (Using the X.264 encoder) is around double the quality of standard MP4 with no filesize increase. An example would be that 4mb/s bitrate h.264 would look like 8mb/s standard MP4 without the increased filesize

@Sakotius It's the same thing, isn't it?

@Jovan14606 yeah me too haha

I don't care what anything thinks: I LOVE THAT CLICKING SOUND!

i was using the Sony AVC option until i saw this video i guess i will start using the Mainconcept option now however i still don't get why the Sony AVC option has
templates that say internet or blu-ray if they were designed for the PSP
i also don't really understand the difference between the two and why some people said Sony AVC options were very bad and to stick with the Mainconcept it's because
im still very new with MP4 I've always been an AVI with DiVX or XViD in the past lol...

How do you get h264 files to even play in Vegas 8.0. They never work for me.
-
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick thanks man this helped me a lot
one suggestion, *PLEASE* turn off the option in your screen recorder that makes that horrible "clickclick" sound when you click the mouse.
