By the time the film was released, Peter Auty's voice, sadly, had broken. It's a boy thing, apparently. Ho hum. Credit where it's due. Not disrespecting Peter Auty in any way at all, his voice was sublime, but sadly, nature does have this way of intervening.

As much as I think this version is brilliant, it's a little known fact that the child singer on the Snowman movie was NOT Aled Jones, but Peter Auty. Aled Jones simply released a single following the popularity of the film.
