anyone that knows Road America understands what that concession stand was. It was the stand that was up in the pit paddock, past the med-shed in front of the big hill on the west side of the paddock, That hill is also a thing of history.
there is no spec suspension set up for ALMS/LMS. no spec tires, brakes, gearboxes, no weight added to winning car (that's FIA GT). protect the ALMS/LMS and let it grow.
American Le Mans Series. Le Mans rules. Spec chassis, supplied engines tuned to spec and/or governed to spec. Weight ballast added to winning car. I don't know how else to explain it, but that's spec. The only rules Can-Am had was basically pertaining to safety. Engine capacity, fuel use and even charging of the engine was left wide-open.
Agree. All different cars all different engines. All different everything. ALMS is factory VS. factory. SRY sobchuk your confussed w/ GRAND AM

I was there for that event and that was the most CanAm cars I had seen ever up at Road America. Pure heaven is right!! No 917/30's though.
