No way do drugs enhance a musician's skills. Drugs nearly killed Crosby during that period. He was saved by jail time and an organ transplant.

The drugs where , in a way , what made the music this good.With any musician that has taken drugs, the music always seems to be really good.

Was on tour with them on the "Live It Up" tour, they sang it quite well, each and every night - How awesome was that? As for lip sync? Never saw anything like that, rough voices on 3 shows back to back perhaps, but always awesome

The reason the harmonies sond so good is because they were and are, Crosby Stills and Nash! We worked best on drugs back in the day, :)

Watch Crosby mumble and fumble his way thru the tune.
He didn't even perform on the original recording because he was too full of drugs. Tim Schmitt did the original harmony in that junkie's stead.The reason the harmonies sound so good is because they have 'help' from background singers.
