@kf4omc Unemployment is higher than that, captain. Once you count all the people that can no longer receive unemployment benefits, those who never signed up for them, those who are underemployed, and those who have simply given up looking for work, it's probably much closer to 30%

@Justanotherhuman2 Name me one energy alliterative that is cheaper than coal and oil. Tell me one that is more efficient that oil and coal. A windmill is only 10% efficient and solar is around 25%. Oil and coal are around 80% to 90%.

@StefanWSWatson and about the false unemployment numbers. The number is much higher than what they report. The real number is unreportable because they cant count the people that have stopped looking and the people who's unemployment has run out. I been out of work for 2 years and no longer receive unemployment so I am no longer counted in the unemployment numbers. IT is estimated that the real number now is around 12%

@StefanWSWatson Yes gas prices were about the same. But now our dollar is worth even less so it is higher than before. Also Bush did things that brought down the prices back then. Obama wont do those things. Bush released 100's of areas for drilling. this act helped bring prices way down. When Obama got into office he revoked those permits. The price of gas was $1.70 a gallon on the day Obama took office.

@kf4omc before obama was elected, gas prices were higher than $4. now, they're around the same, maybe a little less. and unemployment is under 9%.
