"Problem is,can you get the American people to say this is really important and force thier representatives to do the right thing?" Answer: no problem there! Doesn't seem to be a problem for the Republicans when it comes to opposing socialism. He should be saying, "Problem is, when can you get the American people to shut up, and see that they are stupid, and I'm right in all things?" Didn't he write the bible and bring us sunlight? ...Oh wait! that revision of history hasn't been written yet.

What a concept. A leader who states his principles, his views, and tells you the good, the bad, and the ugly. One may not agree with his plan to internalize the environmental/societal costs of energy consumption - but you cannot knock him for deceiving our population (unlike countless before him).

@Actongue This FACT is irrefutable, if the Three Mile Island Nuclear Energy Facility and the Chernobyl Nuclear Energy Facility did not exist, the accidents would not have occurred, no matter what the cause, human error or crappy Russian equipment not being repaired properly.

If oil did not exist people would not be killed driling for oil on oil rigs
If coal mines did not exist people would not be killed mining Coal so whats your point?

Research nuclear power incidents and you will find that it is actually safer then the other forms we have.

@Actongue I haven't read any accounts of a coal-fired electrical plant releasing huge clouds of radioactive particles into the atmosphere causing an area the size of a small state, to be uninhabited, and to be unable to support vegetation or animal life for the next 100 years.

There also has been no cases since chernoybl where these radioactive particles harmed anyone either

What is interesting is watching the 20 year( i think it was) special for the Simpsons is that it has influenced how Americans percieve nuclear power.

I was in Europe and in places lie Holland where they have Wind power and their Windmills it actually looks real neat and futuristic The republicans do the same thing democrats do with solar that democrats do with nuclear.
