@wtrdogg20 you are absolutely right. But there is a posibility to produce other engeines for Concorde to be fuel efficiant. Or make other airplanes just like Boeing B-2707 (that wasn't produced commercially). there are a lot of possibilities. I am just sad I can't fly on it anymore. But sometime in the future SST will return.

@yoavcool1 What I said a year ago in my original comment, even though everybody voted negative on it, is not something and made up......It was said by airspace industry specialist!
There are too much fanboys and ignorants commenting and voting based on personal feelings here....
Check the reports and the real info, that plane was unable to comply with current regulations for noise, fuel consumption, contaminant emissions and maintenance cost/cycles.
Great stuff for its time, but not anymore.

@yoavcool1 It was, like many other things created by human engineering, way more useful and available for everybody....
BTW, that part for cost saving is totally wrong, because the ticket used to cost more than twice the regular ticket....
Anyway, it was the most amazing commercial airplane....now the world changed and the engineering is pointing to the fuel efficiency, cost reduction and versatility (More passenger per trip).

@wtrdogg20 This plane is a marvle of human engeineering. I don't really care who is it for, but people acknowledged it as a marvle and saved money for the tickets. the huge cost per ticket is understanable- to be able to fly twice the speed of sound and arrive a day before you left. it's the closest u can get into a time machine and I am sure everyone here will agree with me.

@TWTR4EVER I flew Air France Concorde service between JFK & CDG trough out the 1980's/90's/2000's until it was decommission! Memories of Felipe Rose (Village People) in the window across, Grace Jones seating in the window in front and the memories a some wonderful times in Paris, ALWAYS!!!!!!!
