... nice video - where is the big bass drummer ? is this near the ocean ? in new york city i play bass drum with 19 djembe players at an african dance class on friday nights - about 70 dance students - they pay $10 dollars each - gthe teacher is "djoniba" - he's african/ caribbean - they do a senegalese dance that looks like a bird flapping it's wings - he dances leaping spins across the floor - he wears a "straw man" costume - the drummers like my bass drum ..

The Drums are Sabar drums indigenous to Senegal.
Here the gewel (griot drummers) play for an Ngente....a baby naming ceremony.
