  • Muscle size and strength are directly related, but each persons genetic make up is different. Some people are hard gainers, and others have a much easier time with it. If you want to get stronger, you will get bigger...it will just be relative to your genetic potential. Two things I can suggest: 1. Do explosive plyometric exercises (talk to your coach about them) 2. Stretch - so many young people make the mistake of getting bigger, but not flexible. Flexibility & strength = Power!

  • got a new question. i have asked my football strength coach and he has no idea on how this can be possible but i thought i'd ask you. so here it is. "how do i increase strength without putting too much muscle mass." as a Defensive back i have to be fast but muscle mass will slow me down in a way. i am about like 7% ish bodyfat. any help?

  • nice info. my question would be for working out at home,what would be the best chest exercise,and how many times per week should I lift weights, right now im doing it 2 times per week im doing 2 times a week upper body and 2 times a week legs.
