Ipod Touch Installer Crash

I have a jailbroken ipod touch in 1.1.3 and i dont know what i did but whenever i open installer it just crashes to the home screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this without restoring my ipod?

r u sure jailbreaking without restoreing doesnt mess up ur ipod

im really not sure but it seems to have worked with a couple different people so try it. even if it does mess up your ipod you can just restore it again.

wait for your battery to run out fully charge it let it run out then charge it fully and you should be good

just ok it crashes because you have to much sources one way to fix this is this

When you go on installer hold down the power button then cancel it, it should go to menu again just go on installer again hold down the power button and cancel it again if it crashes do it over and it should work?? Thank you message me It helped

download winscp (google it!)

and go into it.

your host name is your ipod's ip address, username is root, and password is alpine.

click login and then go up to the drop down arrow, click on /root and click private, var, mobile, library, and installer.

when you get there, delete remote packages.

BUT you will have to do this repetedly cause everytime you reboot your springboard it goes back

what you do is delete the installer package than reboot ur ipod and download it all again.

This is happening on my iPod Touch.

But, its not jailbroken.

u didt have to restore it,

u could just same the file, u used to jailbreak it... agen, and u wouldnt loose any apps or anything

hey you should go upgrade to 2.2 and then jail break it id did that it works better
