This video is documentation of an exhibition I had in the Link Gallery, Manchester from the 6th - 20th March, 2009. The idea behind the work was simple: Destroy all my own work over a week, pretending somebody was vandalizing all my exhibits. I fooled fellow students and tutors across the university into believing I was being victimized. The work is intended to deconstruct the idea of art being sacred, and also to poke fun at the Art Establishment (The Man). The five pieces in the exhibition were all the product of five minutes of brainstorming random exhibits, and they were chosen because of the varied mediums, enabling me to destroy each in a unique way. I spent two months at university pretending they were all deep and meaningful to my tutors. I felt quite evil...
Creative, nice work.

What a unique and brilliant hoax you have performed here! Bravo! Did anybody figure out that it was actually you? I especially love the plasticine kiddie fiddler being destroyed! I look forward to seeing more hoaxes from you. I enjoy hoaxing myself.
