Turin Shroud - The real Truth is a documentary proving from biblical accounts that the the turin shroud is the linen relic used for Jesus Christ after crucifixion. This documentary presents the view of Ahmadiyya Community on the Turin Shroud and reports on the historic visit of Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, fifth Successor of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) who is the second coming of the Messiah. Ahmadis believe the Turin Shroud to be the very same shroud used to cover the body of Jesus (as) after crucifixion. @alamkhan7 Ahmadi Muslims have been saying right from the beginning that according to the Holy Quran Jesus (as) survived crucifixion and lived & fulfilled his mission as he was sent to the lost tribes of Israel and thus travelled to the lost tribes of Israel.

@fruitsoflabour Muslims believe Jesus didn't die. The turin shroud is the burial cloth of a man who had suffered enough brutality to kill a man several times over. Jesus did not survive.

This is so sad. I cry at the part of the movie "Passion of the Christ" when He gets tortured more compare to how people get tortured now a days. I sure hope this is authentic and I saw the transformation of how He might have looked in a special art effect done by computer from a very talented man and that gave me goose bumps all over. I started to pray the rosary, lol

Surely everyone here understands that "Crucified" implies death. Simply to be hung on a cross is not the same as being crucified as the latter is to be EXECUTED by being hung on a cross same as being electricuted is to be killed by electricity.

Ahmadi's don't believe he was crucified. We believe he was put up on a cross to be killed but didn't die.

Get your definitions right.

Jews believed that they crucified and killed the Jesus PBUH, bcz it is said that crucification is a cursed death. As some of the scholars in Islam believe that Allah just changed the people ( means another person was crucified who looked like Jesus) to save Jesus. If so, then Jews are right in their believe bcz they crucified Jesus in their opinion. Why Allah needed this drama to save his loved one.

Quran clearly states that "They Kill him not" neither they crucified him"

you need to go back to old tafsirs of QURAN like Ibnn Khatir, Jalayan etc to understand how saalf the best generations understood it

@xiaahmad Jesus (as) claimed to be the messiah, the Israelites didn't accept him & decided to crucify him. Death on the cross was considered to be cursed. If the jews were successful then it would prove that Jesus (as) wasn't a true Prophet. But Ahmadi Muslims believe & proved with Quranic & Biblical references that God saved Jesus(as) from that death & it shows how God saved Jesus from humiliation at the hand of Jews.
