Harry Reid is committing political suicide if he doesn't pass the Public Option. When his state was polled, Democrats were 46% less likely, (7% more likely) to vote for him. Among independents, 35% were less and 13% were more likely.
How does Harry Reid expect to keep his position if he doesn't pass the Public Option? Progressives will hate him, Democrats and Independents over all won't like his decision, and Republicans won't vote for him anyway! I hope he realizes this...
