Foursquare Checkin Notifier: Working with the Push API and Arduino

This is a scrolling sign configured to instantly show when someone checks into a particular venue on foursquare. I made this to experiment with the foursquare push API but I'm still thinking up ideas for how else I can use checkins. I would love to hear your ideas and feedback!

Hi this is awesome, im working on something using arduino and 4sq any other advice someone has, we are trying to release somethings after someones makes Check-in... i would appreciated a lot for some help thanks :)

This is really cool.....actually I'm working on an application that basically leverages this 4Square "check-in" concept. Currently, the program has to manually check for new "checkins" and it is understandably slower but your video will allow me make my program run faster.....10k you!
