Is Facebook Shutting Down March 15? Is Facebook Ending?

One of the hottest searches and twitter topics today is the rumor that Facebook is shutting down on March 15, 2011. There has been major hype over the rumor that Facebook is ending. Really, there is no reason for Facebook to be shut down. In 2010 Facebook replaced Google as that number one visited site. Of course, some people can't help but freak out over the thought of Facebook ending on 3/15/11. Are you a Facebook addict? How would you react if this was real?

I must be the only one without a Facebook account. I'm petrified of it. I'd be happy if it closed down because I'd feel like I was equal to everyone again. Selfish, I know.

Facebook haters ate jealous because u don't have one or u have one and have no friends or u have one and not pictures or ur friends cause drama well it not Facebook it's ur freinds cuz if it happened on twitter or tumblr or anything it is only cuz ur freinds and not the device .... We called facebooks press line to ask if it's true and the said

"i can't say because my name is not mark zuckerberg. He is the CEO and founder so he can shut it down when he feels like but we are not allowed to comment but personally I start and save your pictures"

It was rumoured on a random website to start with. Mark was meant to have given us a year so he set the date as 15 of march 2012 not 2011. Enjoy it.
