  • As telescopes get more powerful I would suspect we will discover many Billions of "dwarf" Galaxies. Hubble views so many Galaxies, and the Apache Telescope in New Mexico is attempting to catalogue the hundreds of Billions of Galaxies that any study of dwarfs is a secondary pursuit. From our own Galactic "neighborhood" the evidence shows that dwarfs will outnumber the Large Galaxies by more than 3 to 1.

Thanks to Spitzer for posting these vids. Dr. Thaller is Great!!

  • @meshrange I think it is -.-"

  • @semiLivedj It is because we studied other galaxies that we know so much about our own.

  • I hate the way she talks. As if shes talking to a cuddly teddybear lmao.

  • @meshrange I thought the same at first. But it is explained very logical. See it more as... Astronomy for dummies :P

  • All Age, Dont get so steamed about it.

  • IS THIS VIDEO FOR 1O YEAR OLDS?

  • i think we should spend more time studying our galaxy instead of other far away galaxies, just seems to make more sence.

  • i agree. it is good that they included what dwarf galaxies or "large star clusters" as i call them, are collindin g with the milky way right now, and they say that the andromeda galaxy will eventually collide with the milky way, thats when we need to worry because it is more likeley that earth will either be forced out of the milky way than i will stay in the galaxy, it might even be destoryed by cllition with another planet in the proccess. and for the last time, yes i do know alot about space.

  • Glad you included the fact that our Galaxy is already colliding with other galaxies. Was looking at a documentary and the way the 'scientists' were using acronyms like GRB detected! because they're brainwashed goons whom seem to think the 'people will panic' if they realise GRB is an acronym of Gamma Ray Burst lol. Somehow I think we can handle it. All this about "control information" to stop panic is absolute idiocy. People who adhere to that ideology shouldn't be working in science.
