The meaning of the video is the comedy of switched gender roles that are not normally portrayed in classic action movies. In this case, the female (Sally hatchet?) takes on the role of the dominant character as she walks with confidence and is able to accurately shoot the gun. While papa John is sort of a character Who is struggling and searching for a hero to help him. In he end the female teaches John misty how to walk in confidence like her.

I must confess to being pretty snobby when it comes to music these days but I lucked into free tix to see Father J Misty--that guy has more swagger, more charm and more sheer magnetism onstage than anyone I've seen in a very long time. If you can possibly see him live you'll be so very glad you made it happen...
