@stevemufc100 Hi Steve as i said i was brought up around this area and there are many tunnels but i think as to date most have been filled in now but try these.1 Go to the new lighthouse(not the old) and just before you turn right you can see the light house right in front of you,WALK TO THE LEFT it goes back under the road and down about 30 steps this is where i found about 40/50 rounds of 303 in a big old metal container,

@stevemufc100 - I don't know any other tunnels to explore that are still open. Most of the places I used to get in are either gone or sealed off now. We used to go in the Drop Readoubt fort, but I don't know if you can get in there anymore, and also the original channel tunnel site, (which is now Samphire Hoe). It's great exploring spooky old places and buildings that haven't been used for years.

i went ito that tunnel earlier on this year , it was fun looking around it , i would like to find other tunnels like it that are accesable , i would realy like to know how to find Green Man tunnels which are in that complex some where . i am aware that 1 chamber fills with water during spring tides , as i always take causion when venturing into these tunnels. for any one else who wants to go and have a look please beawere that theyve been built for 70 plus years , watch were ur going !!!!

This brought back childhood memories i was born in 1946 and around the age 14/15 we used to walk along the tunnel to the opening you climbed in but started at the entrance by the pub that used to be called the Green Man if you ever go back their is a cave coming from the right side that finished up we estimated to be not far short of Dover castle but Please be careful as it had started to collapse in 1958 and don't go through it on spring tides as one chamber get filled with water
It was fun going in there but if I ever do go back in to explore further i'll go properly equipped and take someone else with me. The day I made this was just a spur of the moment thing.

Yeah the climbing up bit was ok but when it was time to climb back down I really thought I was going to be stuck up there, thats why I had to climb back in and try again. The rope is still there, if you decide to try it, I suggest you take a torch.

Thanks, it was filmed in either 2004 or 2005. I wanna go back in there sometime with a torch and check out the rest of it.
