What a great song. I received a voicemail one evening and this was song was it. Left by a man I love very much but for some reason we can't seem to get things worked out.

This song means alot to mee to, my dad just died about a week ago. My mom showed me this song and she and i go to bed every single night hoping we will see him in our dreams. We feel like if we see him in our dreams hes still close to us. I agree with the lady whose husband passed, love never dies. and I always zone out and see my dad. I know this song is about a significant other but my dad was my best friend.

I love this song & the movie "Hope Floats"! It came out about the time I went through my divorce & decided to stay in my beloved home state of Kentucky. I finally figured out all that glitters is "not" gold!! After all, how can you compare a bunch of bright lights with a worn old pair of cowboy boots & some of the most beautiful horses in the world? And who knows, perhaps love will find it's way back into my life & "stay" this time!! Until then...cowboy boots, horses, and Kentucky Lake it is!
